No clue if it’s gonna work. But I like it. He played here in some real lean years. Then even was on staff for I think 4 years under Lowe. It’d be hard to pick 8 worse years for a player/coach to be a part of. And this is still his dream job (allegedly). He’s one of us. Which is worth exactly 0 wins. But it’s still pretty cool. Plus for a bit of symmetry he coached under Sean Miller and Rick Barnes who our fans have always been obsessed with. Again. Worth 0 wins. But still fun symmetry I guess

Did Justin Gainey ever have a TWW account? I realize any ncsu coach since the inception of tww could have theoretically had an account since they all had @ncsu.edu email addresses, but it's wild that the new coach could have possibly browsed these hallowed pages as a student.

Just get us to the first round of the tournament and get a few wins against UNC and everything will be fine. To me 2034 should be the focus. We need to win the ACC MBB Tournament, NCAA MBB Tournament, ACC Football Championship Game, or College Football Playoff by then. We also need to have a few above our average seasons in FB and MBB where we don't win the title, but do better than a minor bowl, or first weekend exit in the NCAA Tournament.
