When Raleigh gets one of the two likely expansion teams, where will they build the stadium? My idea is to clearcut a ~50 acre enclave inside of Umstead (<1% of the park’s acreage) and you could have shuttles running in from RDU/40/70 for easy access.

It would be nice to have all 3 major sports in NC, we already have the other two in Charlotte.

I'd say our chances are good. Dundon has development rights for 80 acres around Lenovo Center so that's the likely location at this point. As a nearby resident I'm willing to donate Schenck Forest

What ever happened to the plan for some sort of sports arena complex south of downtown? I thought some developer had gotten their hands on a huge chunk of land in the vicinity of Wilmington St and S. Saunders
