1-0 and 0-1 in my 2 leagues. What's everybody's opinion on Joqiue Bell going forward? I have him in my 12 team (non PPR) league but didn't start him week 1. Obviously I know not to expect 20+ points out of him each week, but is he a solid option at flex or was week 1 a fluke? Or maybe I'd be better off trying to trade him now...[Edited on September 10, 2013 at 8:43 AM. Reason : h]
9/10/2013 8:42:57 AM
J. Bell is going to be a decent flex play in PPR, not much in standard leagues. But remember, if R. Bush does go down, J. Bell will be a very valuable player. Not sure I'd trade him right now unless you could get a fairly solid player in return.
9/10/2013 8:56:36 AM
Thanks to DeSean Jackson, I made a comeback and won in 1 of my leagues. Thanks to McCoy, RG III, and Texans D, I made a HUGE comeback in my other league, but still lost by 3 pts.All in all, I'm pretty optimistic about both of my teams this year.
9/10/2013 9:03:22 AM
I'm completely lost about who to to start at my RB or flex positions, pick two RB and one W/R/T flex:CJ Spiller vs. CarolinaDavid Wilson vs. DenverLamar Miller @ IndyLeVeon Bell (if he comes back) @ CincyDeandre Hopkins vs. TennKenbrell Thompkins vs. NYJBrian Hartline @ NEalso, pick one: Tom Brady vs. NYJ or RGIII @ GB
9/10/2013 9:30:31 AM
Brady RB1 SpillerRB2 Wilson, at least he gets full share of workFlex Hopkins[Edited on September 10, 2013 at 9:38 AM. Reason : wilson over miller]
9/10/2013 9:37:04 AM
If PPR:QB: BradyRB1: SpillerRB2: WilsonWR: HartlineOf those 4 RBs, those 2 are the most talented and have the highest upside. If it's not PPR, could see you going Hopkins, but Hartline got a ton of looks week 1 and think he's Tannehill's safety net.
9/10/2013 9:40:54 AM
Was offered David Wilson/Carson Palmer for Darren McFadden/ Big Ben. Standard league, non-ppr.Current rbs are Trent Richardson, Ahmad Bradshaw, leveon bell, Chris ivory, and McFadden. Thoughts? My QB is Romo.
9/10/2013 9:57:30 AM
eh, doesn't seem to do much for either team IMOyou move your backup QB for a backup QB, and wilson/DMC are both your RB2. if anything, I take DMC over wilson anyway, so it might be a step back for youwhat am i not seeing here
9/10/2013 10:15:36 AM
I like Palmer over Roethlisberger, especially given the Steeler's offensive troubles going forward. Wilson and run DMC are a wash long term, but I like McFadden better short term.
9/10/2013 10:23:33 AM
^and ^^ Basically I don't know if I trust McFadden. Was thinking about countering for Ridley instead of Wilson?[Edited on September 10, 2013 at 10:24 AM. Reason : .]

So I kinda hate my team right now. 14 team keeper league where you can keep 0-4 players and give up your first 0-4 picks in the draft for each keeper. Non-PPR.We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR/TE, K, DSThere's my team:QBsRussell WilsonSam BradfordRBsAlfred MorrisMark IngramBen TateLe'veon BellWR/TEsCalvin JohnsonJermichael FinleyPercy HarvinEmmanuel SandersMarkus WheatonDSTPackersColtsKDavid AkersI am # 1 in Waiver priority (for my first move, obviously), and the following guys are available:Knowshon Moreno, Julius Thomas, Julian Edelman, Andre Roberts, Leonard HankersonI figure people will be putting in claims for at least Moreno, Thomas, and Edelman so I will likely only end up with one of them. My RBs are piss-poor, but I think Thomas will have value all season while Moreno will probably just be the next handful of games before Ball starts taking over. So should I use my priority to pick up Moreno or Thomas? I'm leaning toward Thomas for longer term value and am crossing my fingers that Le'veon Bell turns into something. I'm looking at dropping Sanders, Wheaton, a defense, and probably Ingram if I can pick up any of the free agents I listed. ]
9/10/2013 12:54:47 PM
I actually went 2-5 in week one. Thought I lost, but actually won by .26 pts
9/10/2013 2:31:41 PM
^^ I would probably pop the waiver on Moreno.. Fox and Manning are both averse to change, I think the job will be Moreno's barring injury. The fact that Ball only saw the field when the game was well outta reach was a bad sign imo.Thomas would be nice in this format but RB2 is your biggest need. I don't know why Moreno is still available in a league this deep but I think that he is a better option than hoping for Bell to produce or Foster to get hurt.
9/10/2013 3:01:45 PM
yeah i'm torn between thomas and moreno. even with moreno being the lead guy right now, i don't know if i'd start him over tate. even without an injury to foster, tate is producing with the carries he's given and it seems like houston is really trying to dial back foster's load. tate had 6.1 YPC in week 1 and got the same number of carries as moreno even with the texans trailing all game. moreno would definitely be a good pickup, i'm just wondering if julius thomas is a potential stud. manning loves throwing to tight ends, especially in the red zone, and it seems like thomas could be the next dallas clark.would i be crazy to pass on moreno in favor of thomas? i'm just worried about the possibility of moreno putting up 30-40 yard performances while thomas gets more TDs and yards. manning has always been one to like the quick passes at the goal line more than handing it off.

Is either Chris Givens or Chris Ivory droppable for Edelman this week?
9/10/2013 8:29:38 PM
^who are your other RB?[Edited on September 10, 2013 at 9:18 PM. Reason : V ah yes, it's a column in the standings duh (thx)]
9/10/2013 9:13:24 PM
^ isn't it on the standings page?
9/10/2013 9:15:48 PM
I've got top waiver priority, would dropping Kenny Britt for Edelman be a good move?
9/10/2013 10:23:34 PM
^It's not a bad idea. Edelman should keep seeing tons of targets till Gronk comes back (and probably after too). Amendola is most likely out Thurs. Isn't there anyone worse than Britt you can drop? He has so much talent but he is so frustrating. I'd say do it. Question for the DST Streamers:Denver was dropped last week for some unknown reason. So....Denver vs NYGorBaltimore vs CleOther league is thin on the wire:Dallas vs KCDetroit vs AriOakland vs JaxEagles vs SDNew Orleans vs TB I'm not sure why so many people are high on Dallas this week, KC's offense looks like it can put up some points and I think Alex Smith takes care of the ball pretty well. Also, I can't believe I'm considering using Oak D.[Edited on September 10, 2013 at 10:35 PM. Reason : V No need to carry a backup QB or TE]
9/10/2013 10:29:43 PM
^my bench is:BradshawIvoryThompkinsBrittM.BennettRiversi've got DAL lined up for my second waiver claim, dropping ARIi would say BAL, NYG have a decent offense[Edited on September 10, 2013 at 10:35 PM. Reason : ]
9/10/2013 10:33:09 PM
should I drop Lamar Miller for Fred Jackson(non ppr)?I have 1st waiver priority and other available players include Julian Thomas. My tight end is Jimmy Graham. I'm not usually a fan of multiple tight ends (this league uses a rb/wr position, not a rb/wr/te). My receivers are great, but my rb depth isn't as good.Ugh fuck the dolphins[Edited on September 10, 2013 at 11:16 PM. Reason : I'm tempted to pick up Thomas just to keep him off anybody else's team]
9/10/2013 11:05:30 PM
on that advice, i dropped Bennett for Edelman. now I see that Edelman (NYJ) is projected for 11.01 points this week, while Bowe (DAL) has 9.43... does that seem legit to you guys? Bowes not the best WR1 in the league, but he's still a WR1 while Edelman is WR2 or WR3 depending on Amendola. But Brady is a gajillion times the QB Smith is, so....
9/11/2013 6:59:45 AM
amendola is prob not playing this week since its a Thursday game. I would go edelman over bowe all day long.
9/11/2013 8:51:35 AM
^Exactly. For this week, if Amendola is indeed out, Edelman is likely a WR1 in PPR. Brady doesn't seem to trust his new guys as much(outside of Amendola). So I could see him feeding Edelman the entire game.
9/11/2013 8:57:20 AM
Wow. Well that's awesome. Thx
9/11/2013 9:40:28 AM
Hartline is the truth this year. Good pick up. The pressure Mike Wallace is taking off of him is going to make him blow up.

Pick 1Ryan Matthews vs. PHI, Ben Tate vs. TEN, Knowshon Moreno vs. NYG, Fred Jackson vs CAR
9/12/2013 12:38:17 PM
^I'd probably go with Mathews, as much as it pains me to say that. I'd consider Tate as well.Should I drop Fred Davis or Issac Redman for Isiah Pead? (This is a 16-team PPR league)My RBs: Trent Richardson, MJD, Pierce, RedmanTEs: Julius Thomas, Brandon Myers, Fred DavisWR: Colston, Torrey Smith, Roddy WhiteLogic says drop the 3rd TE (Davis) even though I can technically start two TEs with one as a flex, but Redman was pretty shitty last week. This week, I'm probably going to start both Myers and Thomas because Roddy White has been poop with his high ankle sprain. Just wondering if I should take a flier on Pead.[Edited on September 12, 2013 at 12:44 PM. Reason : ]
9/12/2013 12:41:48 PM
tatei don't know if i would drop either of those guys for pead. as shitty as redman has been, at least he's the starter for now. pead MIGHT be the #2 guy in St Louis, but he hasn't really performed well at all in the NFL. i would probably keep davis so you won't be so thin at WR/TE because high ankle sprains are a bitch.[Edited on September 12, 2013 at 12:45 PM. gotta go with Campick my QB this week:Tom Brady vs. NYJRGIII @ GB

Since it didnt get answered With Amendola out:Golden Tate vs San FranCecil Shorts vs OaklandJerome Simpson vs chicago or pickup Eddie Royal off Free Agency against Philly
