That stat could be misleading though. While it does say that other races were reduced by 4%, it doesn’t say what the starting percentages were. Could it be that there were just generally more African Americans employed by the federal government?

Note: I am NOT anti-DEI, just an observation.

Even if so, the numbers would suggest they were disproportionately targeted for reduction. If we're cutting based on job function, it should generally be expected to affect all races at their current percentages.

I think amnesty is on the table. Would go a long way to holding this bloc for another election. The framing on this is going to be very delicate though— I think it could be centered around keeping families and communities together

That’s the other aspect of trumpism that’s somewhat atypical— the biggest leverage democrats have is his personal businesses and connections. It’s another reason to drag them all into investigations including Elon musk.
