What major hardships have you had to overcome in your life?

outside of my parents divorcing at one of the worst ages to go through a divorce (10) and a few unexpected deaths, I can’t think of anything major

I definitely don’t count the divorce as a major hardship, but it was life altering

the sudden passing of my aunt/business partner a few months ago is certainly up there

and a few miscarriages, but I know we’re not unique when it comes to that
