This is the worst playoff ever. Two of the best arguably the two best players are out for the whole playoffs. The east is a cakewalk for miami and the 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th and 8th best teams are all in the west. /reseed

That OKC/Dallas game made up for a pretty shitty first day of playoffs. The 4th quarter was stupendous.Chicago...this is what you get for leaving your starters in when you're up 20 with 6 minutes left and completely dominating the game. John Lucas has been crushing it the 2nd half of the year...no point in having Rose in. Idiots. Are people really bitching about the calls for Miami?? Really?? Hating that much? I stopped watching after 3 quarters, but I didn't see many questionable calls. And when you're sucking that bad, it doesn't matter. New York looked bobcat-ish for 3 1/2 quarters last night. That was disgusting. Here's to hoping the 2nd day is better than the first.

That OKC/Dallas game was great. Jason Kidd with 7 steals?! How does a guy that age get 7 steals, he is incredible.Ibaka, Westbrook, and Harden really bailed Durant out there. He was forcing it way too much even though Harden/Westbrook were getting any shot they wanted.Hopefully he gets it together, he did have some terrific blocks though. Not sure what OKC is thinking though by playing Fisher 16 minutes. This is the playoffs, he should be spot duty and nothing more. They aren't good enough to overcome a lot of playoff teams wasting all those minutes.

not that the gameplan isn't double kobe on every touch and the lakers aren't winning or anything. nope.

jesus christ, andrew bynum had an on-air revelation that him playing good defense leads to wins.

Lebron gets mugged about as much as Shaq did. If you get fouled that much, you're going to pull that shit. Get over it. Would loved for t-dub to have been around when Jordan was around...

Damn I just lost all respect for two of the best players in the league in two days. Lebron and now Rondo.
4/29/2012 9:27:18 PM
Not smart Rondo...
4/29/2012 9:29:49 PM
what'd he do, i flipped from the baseball game at the very end of the instant replay
4/29/2012 9:30:47 PM
got in the refs face after a shitty call and ref called a tech so rondo went up on him and chest bumped him.
4/29/2012 9:31:32 PM
What a dumbass move by Rondo. He'll get suspended at least a game for bumping the ref. Maybe this is the year T-Mac finally gets out of the first round.
4/29/2012 9:32:30 PM
^^ that call was legit, can't be hitting people across the face while they have the ball, even if they're on the floor and rondo did, indeed, pull a bonehead move. oh, and f*ck boston.[Edited on April 29, 2012 at 9:36 PM. Reason : .]
4/29/2012 9:36:08 PM
of course, the best person in a league of assholes would get hurt and can't play.
4/29/2012 9:45:43 PM
Rondo was tripped, .
4/29/2012 11:09:10 PM
that gif doesnt make it look like there was any contact at all (i saw the replays, i know he bumped him)
4/29/2012 11:11:08 PM
grizzlies went into hibernation 26-3 run to win at the end for the clippers. epic nc state shit.

initial call wasn't on Rondo, it was on Brandon Bass who basically gave Josh Smith a forearm across the head while they were on the floor. Knocked off J-Smooth's headband, can't be doin' that!!!Will be interesting to see what the league does. Heard Jalen refer to it as "incidental contact" on Sportscenter this morning. And Doc Rivers talked about how Rondo's momentum carried him into the ref. Yeah, right. Dude lost his temper and bumped the ref, that sh*t is clear. Probably just a one game suspension though, which would be fair. I'm just glad it wasn't Lebron who bumped into the ref - in that case the ref likely would've gotten suspended for a few games and had an official league reprimand by now...and WTF Memphis????
4/30/2012 9:22:10 AM
Thanks for the clarification. I thought he was reacting to a technical foul on him and the ref bump was a 2nd tech. I don't know where I got that idea from.Re: the trip. It does look like he loses a bit of balance after inadvertently stepping on the back of the ref's heel, but it was definitely a bump.[Edited on April 30, 2012 at 10:16 AM. Reason : -]
4/30/2012 10:15:49 AM
It also looked like he was following the ref as it looked like he was walking off and then the ref stopped. Still a bump tho and shouldn't have been all up in his grill close enough to let that happen.Edit: I just watched the youtube posted and it does look worse there. The gif makes it hard to see the bump because the camera is moving. Also I didn't say he was in the right I just meant it wasn't extremely flagrant. I'm okay with the call.[Edited on April 30, 2012 at 10:36 AM. Reason : .]
4/30/2012 10:22:19 AM
That shit was intentional. You've got to be blind if you think him bumping the ref was any way an accident or that he couldn't have prevented. He didn't even act shocked when it happened. Fucking idiot. Will Ray Allen play in this series at all??
4/30/2012 10:24:02 AM
^^ No way man, He was clearly pissed, lost his cool, and aggressively bumped the ref. Great example to set for little kids!It boggles my mind that people still hate on the Heat when both D Wade and Lebron act with clear heads and professionalism on the court.[Edited on April 30, 2012 at 10:24 AM. Wow more injuries.Caron Butler out several weeks. He stinks but the Clippers don't have a great replacement unless Evans can play SF (prob will be martin instead?). Tiago Splitter getting MRI on his wrist. He's criminally underrated, would be a big setback for the spurs

Hard fouls are a part of ball a both d wade and james get their fair share. So ur counterpoint is incorre t.
4/30/2012 6:54:26 PM
i dont recall Wade or Lebron ever getting their noses intentionally broken in the All Star Game, but maybe I'm misrememberingi'll concede though that neither Wade nor Lebron have made physical contact with a referee latelyi'll also concede to your point that yes, Rondo does have infinitely more NBA championships than Lebron]
4/30/2012 6:56:57 PM
I guess my point is that the Heat handle themselves on the court very well, especially with considering how much they are on the receiving end of hard fouls. Yet, they still have a negative image as "the bad guys" of the league, when there are many other players/teams that are more deserving of that title.[Edited on April 30, 2012 at 7:05 PM.
