CBS in my case.

They were late moving to him, let him ramble for about 20 minutes, and then cut him off and started giving commentary about all his lies. They had him mostly muted on the split screen while he just kept on going.

But ABC and NBC didn't even air it. Probably the right call.

They didn't let him finish explaining why voter fraud was rampant in 2020, but not in 2016 or 2024

That's gotta be illegal. But not that the law matters anymore.

I wonder what laws Kamala would have broken. Or wars she would have started

Did anybody even really watch last night? I’m glad to see they are getting tired of his shit and just ignoring him.

I watched the part that was shown on CBS. It was one of his rally speeches with a slightly better job of sticking to the script, but still insane by any reasonable metric.

I see this as nothing but laying the groundwork to invalidate the midterms. It’s pretty scary.

"I want to get ahead of this speech tomorrow. You are going to hear a lot of cries of the sky falling. Remember: the President of the United States does not control elections. States and localities do, and even if you say "he has the military," there aren't enough in the 48 states to make a dent.
They are going to try what they try. But they are not smart people, nor are they coordinated, and a real plan would be five years in the making. Remember what you're dealing with.
Nobody is inclined to believe a word he says, either. This is the guy who said a five-dollar apple is worth it. He's not trying to move votes here. He's playing the old song one more time trying to turn out his base. But many will not turn out.
Note that nowhere in our statement do we encourage complacency or sitting still. They will act. But you should understand they don’t have the power they want you to think. When they do act, you will be equipped to respond."

Excellent advice from a tricky dick ?parody? account

Like Massie said - Republicans basically control all three branches. Where’s the voter fraud? Where’s the deep state?

I feel the same way about the criticism of the "mainstream" media. Its like fox news is number 1, youtube most watched for tv now... Podcasters, etc etc. To me the "mainstream media" is more right leaning than ever...its like where is this leftwing conspiracy at? The right controls everything!

^^ Obviously still very much in control since we are in another quagmire that no one wanted.

Quote :
"Chevron was one of the most important decisions in U.S. administrative law and was cited in thousands of cases.[4] Forty years later, in June 2024, the Supreme Court overruled Chevron in Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo,[5] on the grounds that it conflicts with the Administrative Procedure Act, reversing decades of administrative agency power to interpret ambiguous statutes and regulations. This ruling shifted interpretation authority from federal agencies to the courts, requiring them to decide the "best reading" of a law rather than deferring to an agency's interpretation, and impacting agencies like the EPA and OSHA."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevron_U.S.A.,_Inc._v._Natural_Resources_Defense_Council,_Inc.

In theory Chevron was overturned in 2024, which delegated power back to the courts. Maybe the courts count as deep state now? Aren't they still over ruling trump left and right?

The intellectual criticism has always been about it being entertainment and ad driven. The "liberal bias" criticism is only one of the many criticisms you can throw at them.

But name me one talk radio host on the left?

I can give you quite a few on the right that have millions of listeners -

Hannity (who blows btw)
Clay and Buck
Bongino
Dave Ramsey (to a certain extent)
Jason Lewis (Louis?)
And the slew of local and regional talking heads.
