My 30s were overall pretty great! Got married, various career changes, mostly happy things. My younger brother died when I was 39 though, so that’s still hard. Neither of us has a great relationship with our parents, but we had each other. I thought we’d both at least make it to 40.

Also got the guy that sexually abused me and other women from the downtown Raleigh community convicted. It feels a little like an albatross in that if someone googles him my name is right there too with what he did to me, but it’s worth it to know it’s harder for him to go under the radar for the next woman (or employer).

As for my 40s, I’m feeling pretty positive!

Unlike Bill Kristol who’s started saying occasional things I happily agree with.

I look at it on both mobile and desktop browsers. If I’m going to be responding to more than one or two posts though I’m probably on a desktop/laptop

Spanish, but I'm not having kids so that's a theoretical. (I like kids, just not planning to have/raise a baby or very young child).

Oops! Right now, I've got an indoor ornamental pepper I've been cross-breeding for a couple generations, some other unremarkable stuff in pots (like a kitchen basil), and more aquatic plants than I can keep up with in my 10gal tank. I use poopy tank water to water most of my plants and they love it (though my tank is pretty balanced so I don't *need* to do a ton of water changes; I also make my own fertilizer blends from chemical salts I got off the internet. My DIY CO2 injection system is legally distinct from an explosive device and made out of a beer growler and trash I macgyvered and runs on a yeast reaction.)
