Allegedly democrats have enough state legs to pass the popular vote compact

They should do it but would dramatically alter the political parties

A Republican being less racist would win a popular vote

Or a Democrat openly against transgender people

But maybe a white grievance populist gets 90% of the white vote at makes us an ethnostate

It might increase turnout since individual votes would matter more in otherwise solidly blue or red states. Unsure whether that's a good thing, but I lean toward good.
