Damn that blows. I think the fact that we've just kind of had Peters hanging around clearly in between Ward and him didn't really help things. I've never really been a big fan of Peters, and Murphy had a great season last year.

Although we had no quality #2 with Boucher out, we had quite a bit of depth in the system with Peters, Murphy, and Andersen. Andersen absolutely tore shit up in the Swedish Elite League this year. He's also a big motherfucker at 6'4'', 240+.

Peters showed a lot of improvement last year and has good size for the role. I think he's earned it.

He only got to play in 7 games, 1 of which was handed to him as a loss because of the time left in the game. He was 2-3-2 with a .931 save percentage and 2.48.

Everblades won the Kelly Cup yesterday in the ECHL...but the team is only half Canes affiliated. Or something like that. It gets confusing at the ECHL level.

But between the Checkers showing last year, and this run, we obviously have talent in the system. Hopefully Muller will be able to utilize it in the years to come, unlike Maurice.

If he feels he is that good then you would think he shouldn't have a problem competing for the backup spot with those guys. My thought being that he wants to be a starter within 2 years and he knows that aint gonna happen with Cam here barring an injury.

There is a rumor from the Pens' beat writer that Carolina is in play for Jordan Staal with a possible package of "Faulk, Sutter, 8th overall, plus another piece". Obviously this would be a complete and total disaster of a trade for our franchise so I can only pray there is no truth to it whatsoever. It would be mind bogglingly terrible.
