that's kinda what happened that day. we were bass fishing and kept seeing something feeding on top. i tied on a rapala floating minnow and that crappie nailed it. caught a few on a spinnerbait while bass fishing in the canoe at lake wheeler.

It's been a while. Something like 18 months. I don't fish that much now. I do have a fishing kayak I need to get out on this spring. Sometimes I fish mountain streams with a tenkara rod when I'm up there hiking or biking.

whole roasted chicken, pork chop, rice, sweet potatoes, some kind of vegetable mix, trail mix, granola bars, ice cream

I have 6 different bicycles and an indoor bike. I've got a full suspension cross country mountain bike, a longer travel trail bike, a singlespeed hardtail, a geared hardtail, a drop bar rigid mtb, and a drop bar gravel bike. I ride anything from singletrack trails to abandoned logging roads, doubletrack, forest service roads, gravel roads, bike paths, and paved roads, but I try to avoid paved roads as much as possible.

Seems like there's at least some local election I need to vote in every year, so once a year I guess. I'll vote in a primary if there's something actually contested on my ballot, but there usually isn't.

As long as you don't have any high interest debt and are putting some money away for the future, it's not a problem. There are way worse things you can spend money on. I'm sure they hold their value, right?

Yeah, no, I don't carry any debt, have ample retirement savings, and live within my means. Playing/collecting these are just a hobby of mine. Hell, I've even reasoned with myself that if I'm at home playing music, I'm not spending money outside of my home

Guitars (and basses) aren't really considered high yield investment prices or anything. But reputable brands, barring any major damage, warping of the neck, broken components, etc.... generally hold their value OK.
