8/11/2011 10:40:02 PM
what team is he on?
8/11/2011 10:53:01 PM
The Church of Tebow O'Johnfoxnormally i figure a team wouldnt want overtime in the preseasonbut with how short the PRE preseason was, no OTAs, etc, i'd want as much experience as i could get[Edited on August 11, 2011 at 11:04 PM. Reason : edit]

I thought nate signed a four year contract. Can he still be cut?
8/12/2011 9:08:28 AM
Nate was inactive because of an ankle sprain.
8/12/2011 9:10:31 AM
You guys are silly. 3rd round picks never get cut. Unless you're Maurice Clarett.
8/12/2011 10:24:07 AM
Ravens trade for WR Evans from Bills
8/12/2011 2:20:12 PM
well, what did they trade to get him?
8/12/2011 2:26:55 PM
4th round pick, pretty good deal to round out their WR's by adding a speed guy.]
8/12/2011 3:10:45 PM
lol Prater, just saw him kick a FG last night I think, surprised they let him playhttp://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/08/12/broncos-kicker-matt-prater-arrested-for-driving-drunk/
8/12/2011 4:35:53 PM
Fox probably just thought to himself "Sauerbraun did a lot worse, no big deal"
8/12/2011 4:37:41 PM
i don't know if i've ever been as impressed w/ someone younger than me as i am with julio jones. this fucking kid has lived up to all of the hype he's had since high school.
8/13/2011 1:09:52 AM
he kind of disappeared at times at Bama... but I always thought he would be a better NFL player than college player.
8/13/2011 1:20:07 AM
that's kind of what i mean though, he's just silently manned up to the hype. he was a starter on a national title winning football team, and now a promising rookie, what more could you ask of a kid? i love it.
8/13/2011 1:34:27 AM
oh trust me, as a Falcons fan I am going to love him
8/13/2011 1:39:21 AM
hahahahaha Mark Sanchez
8/15/2011 4:14:37 PM
Jets Texans on ESPN(fyi)
8/15/2011 8:24:05 PM
Texans' 3rd/4th string D needs to learn how to tackle
8/15/2011 11:17:20 PM
well, that means they get cut
8/15/2011 11:18:41 PM
LOL @ McElroyrun out of bounds at the 1st down marker with 00:00 on the clock, then throw it
8/15/2011 11:22:49 PM
lol, QB was like 10 yards over the line of scrimmage when he threw it
8/15/2011 11:23:02 PM
as soon as he crossed the line of scrimmage, i knew lulz were about to be abound
8/15/2011 11:24:09 PM
Saban must be proud
8/15/2011 11:24:25 PM
i love that he looked at the time on the scoreboard at 0:00 and was like, "fuck, i gotta throw it?"
8/15/2011 11:32:41 PM
If it makes you guys feel any better about Nate:
8/16/2011 8:10:40 AM
Merrill Hoge is such a douchebag, he's obviously just trying to go against the norm and create buzz with his little shock value statements. He did it with his Tim Tebow comments and now he's stirring the Cam Newton pot. Saying that Cam should be benched all year is ridiculous
8/16/2011 9:46:51 AM
link me bro
8/16/2011 10:00:53 AM
he said it on sportscenter this morning
8/16/2011 10:02:14 AM
the way i see it, he's never been a coach. yeah he played, and he can sit in Bristol and play with his board thingy. but a coach knows better than Hoge. if Hoge was a player personnel guru, his ass would have left ESPN years ago.i've always thought he was a raging twat. and oh yeah, like everyone else at ESPN, he'll never admit when he made a wrong prediction/assessment.
8/16/2011 10:46:35 AM
Does anybody else think that the Redskins is trying to tank this season in order to get Andrew Luck next year?
8/17/2011 11:56:23 PM
nahhh, hightower is a good running back...they have sexy rexy...he isnt great but he isnt jimmy clausen.Still think the Raiders will be the worst team in the league. maybe the Seahawks as well...
8/18/2011 12:18:52 AM
the Bills gotta be in the running for the Andrew Luck sweepstakes too.
8/18/2011 12:29:55 AM
Bengals
8/18/2011 12:37:53 AM
don't know if the Bengals gonna draft Andrew Luck, since they just got Andy Dalton this year. Then again, with once-a-decade player like Luck, you never know.
8/18/2011 1:20:46 PM
^ i can think of at least one team that drafted a QB first overall a year after drafting a QB in the second round.
8/18/2011 1:38:26 PM
Andrew Luck Sweepstakes:Dolphins, Bengals, 49ers, Seahawks, Redskins, Panthers, Bills

The eagles arent looking too "dreamy" tonight. I bet Matthew Berry is holding his breathe that Vick has a better 3rd preseason game (he has been very outspoken with vick being the #1 overall fantasy pick)Cotchery looking good now that he's on the field. I hate seeing him in a Steelers jersey thoughTerry Bradshaw should never, ever be allowed in the booth again, he horribleThe Steelers are the NFL's version of walmart nation. Their shitty fans, who've never stepped foot in the shithole known as Pittsburgh, will be coming out of the woodwork very soon
8/18/2011 9:14:58 PM
they are nowhere near as Walmart as Dallas fans arenot even close
8/18/2011 9:19:00 PM
Vick and the Eagles D look pretty horrible at the moment.
8/18/2011 9:27:29 PM
I disagree. With how good the Steelers have been and how average the cowboys have been recently I see probably 4-5 steelers fans for every cowboys fan. Hell I can think of two friends who are cowboys fans and at least ten who are steelers fans. The cowboys were the NFLs walmart nation in the 90s, but since 2000 the steelers took over. In my personal opinion and observation
8/18/2011 9:37:11 PM
having been to games against both the Steelers and Cowboys (in Charlotte, of course) Cowboys fans are WAY worse, regardless of year/recordand absolutely zero of them are from Dallasa good amount of Steelers fans in this area/state are actually from Pittsburgh/Pennsylvaniaand those that don't live here actually travel with the teambig difference between hardcore fans and bandwagon fans[Edited on August 18, 2011 at 9:44 PM. Reason : whoops]
8/18/2011 9:41:34 PM
We're picking the lesser of two evils. I hate both teams and fanbases. I might be a little biased since I was raised a browns fan and steelers hater.
8/18/2011 9:47:15 PM
I actually respect Steelers fans because they are actual fansalmost hate Cowboys fans worse than Carolina fansnever seen as many fights at a football game as I have at Cowboys games
8/18/2011 9:49:05 PM
drod talking bout bandwagon fans
8/18/2011 10:01:23 PM
You're the driver of the DROD bandwagon, ernieAnd for the record, I don't mind fans of teams who are from the city their team plays in. People who have never been to Pittsburgh or Dallas, etc and bought a steelers/cowboys jersey just because they are winning are the fans I can't stand. The steelers fans I know that are actually from Pittsburgh are okay in my book (plus they are more respectful and knowledgeable than bandwagoners)
8/18/2011 10:09:59 PM
Toot tootBut really, bandwagon fans in professional sports are people who pull for teams only because they're winning, like post-2004 Red Sox fan. Because you're not from Dallas or Pittsburgh doesn't matter if you've been pulling for them for generations. Pre-1994 NC NFL fans who weren't carpetbaggers were all bandwagoners? Come on. Pro teams don't give a shit about the city they're playing in (you know that, Cavs fan). Completely different from college sports.[Edited on August 18, 2011 at 10:15 PM. Reason : Hometown snobbery!]
8/18/2011 10:14:52 PM
did the Bengals have bandwagon fans during the 80's when they were good?
8/18/2011 10:26:09 PM
is pulling for a pro team whose city you've never lived in worse than pulling for a college team whose college you've never attended?
8/19/2011 11:47:21 AM
I dont think so...I pull for the Cardinals but have never lived there.I've been a fan of theirs since wayyy before the Jake the Snake days.Professional is different from collegiate in respect to fans, I think at least.
