***And I consider this line analogous to multiple, unprecedented Republican efforts to subvert elections. The vast majority of Republicans in Congress have actually normalized January 6. They view 2020 as a stolen election. They have a very effective, very powerful propaganda machine that sells this point of view...and this is culmination of a few decades of right wing media efforts to present themselves as the only source of truth, while "legacy media" is spun to favor Democrats.

They are already setting the stage to question the results of this election, should Democrats win big.

I am open to alternatives that are not as deceptive...provided they are effective.

But if something isn't done, the ones that are cheating as we speak will win.

Do you think desperate cheating is ever justified to spoil a party that is literally in the process of making cheating their modus operandi? If not, do you have any ideas for an effective alternative?

And please keep in mind, messaging at this point is extremely difficult to impossible for a significant portion of the population. Many Republican constituents have been told, repeatedly, that you can't believe anything coming out of Democrats, or mainstream media.....and that has been very effective....

^ the text is just to jog your memories. This was a case in Florida where they did basically the exact thing, find a guy with the same name to run a race to try to split votes. The guy the recruited got convicted and the guy who did the recruiting got convicted. Both slaps on the wrist. Didn’t invalidate the election results though. Pretty crazy story and actual election fraud.
