Right. Because it's in the Southern Hemisphere. Where cyclones (but not toilets) spin the opposite way due to the Coriolis effect.

Forgot about this thread until seeing it pop up today. My new boss just moved from Nairobi, where she worked in the US embassy. I'd been thinking about how hot it must have been there and probably better here not remembering that they are in winter right now while she's moving here at peak heat time for NC. So probably not a great temp comparison for her right now. Winter will definitely get colder though than it normally does in Nairobi.
