Forgot about this thread until seeing it pop up today. My new boss just moved from Nairobi, where she worked in the US embassy. I'd been thinking about how hot it must have been there and probably better here not remembering that they are in winter right now while she's moving here at peak heat time for NC. So probably not a great temp comparison for her right now. Winter will definitely get colder though than it normally does in Nairobi.

Man these next few days are going to suck. Too early for this for sure. I asked gemini and they said april 16 is normal first day 90F, so 97F is super hot for now. However 1916 we had 100F as sat record, so not hottest ever for this month
