youda fat mulla fucka
I hope our whole team watches this. Then Glennon throws for 400 yards and 6 TDs.Funny just a few years ago Bray couldn't beat a pitiful ACC team in UNC in a bowl.
7/12/2012 11:58:46 AM
Funny, last year Glennon couldn't beat a pitiful Cincinnati team, couldn't even get close.
7/12/2012 1:13:02 PM
Cincy was by far the best team Tennessee beat last year
7/12/2012 1:25:20 PM
they werent that good, they killed them, could have been a lot worse. And we've already discussed this, with Hunter and Bray out they were horrible last year
7/12/2012 1:35:21 PM
Cincinnati finished the season with a 10-3 record and tied for first in their conference. Pretty pitiful if you ask me.
7/12/2012 1:37:09 PM
oh, I guess they were pretty good then, that makes UT beating the shit out of them even better, thanks.
7/12/2012 1:38:15 PM
Cincy's gonna be tough this season with Gino Gidugli back at the helm
7/12/2012 1:40:43 PM
wonder if Tennessee wins a conference game in regulation this season
7/12/2012 1:42:47 PM
thats an odd thing to wonder about, but I appreciate the interest
7/12/2012 1:43:37 PM
its interesting but i agree its odd that a team only wins one conference game in an entire season, and it takes overtime to do itodd indeed
7/12/2012 1:45:45 PM
yeah, too bad they arent in the ACC, then there would be less to wonder aboutI mean, I know playing the two teams that were in the NC game back to back, bookended by Georgia and South Carolina with your two best players out is a pretty pussy schedule and all[Edited on July 12, 2012 at 1:48 PM. 7/12/2012 1:47:13 PM
too bad they arent in the ACC indeed, then you'd have a boatload of ACC conference pridethen you'd only have to worry about playing back to back national champions in basketball]
7/12/2012 1:49:58 PM
oh, you mean like Florida and Kentucky?
7/12/2012 1:53:43 PM
i meant like NC State and Maryland
7/12/2012 1:58:29 PM
ah yes, I forgot about that 2001 or 2003 NC State National Championshipanyways, thats bball, always takes a backseat to football. Unless you are historically better at bball then you claim that it is more important, but I'm glad no one here is that delusional.[Edited on July 12, 2012 at 2:01 PM. Reason : d]
7/12/2012 1:59:30 PM
i forgot about Kentucky winning the title back to back, since it was in the 1940s
7/12/2012 2:02:06 PM
Yeah, stuff before 2000 shouldnt count. And you got me all confused silly goose. When I was referring to Bama and LSU back to back I meant the games last season against them were back to back, not that they were back to back champions but then you went and flipped the script on me and made it to where the team in questions played the back to back national champions in the same season but not necessarily back to back within that season. So going by that the UT has done that toowe are good at that too, thanks for noticing, but women bball didnt even come around as a national collegiate sport until like the early 80s I think, so even the very best schools at that arent considered a womens bball school, especially those with national championships in football, seasons where they werent even scored on, etc. I can recommend a good sports history book if you need one to catch up.[Edited on July 12, 2012 at 2:11 PM. I was just trying to relate buddy, since you brought up the Kentucky NC in the 1940s... get your story straight!
7/12/2012 2:12:13 PM
if you guys were in the ACC though, you'd probably have a 60,000 seat stadium and a drop off in recruiting
7/12/2012 2:13:29 PM
You two take it from here. Excellent work
7/12/2012 2:15:51 PM
I can agree with that, competition, on and off the field is highly motivating... and we would also have our QB throwing hotdogs to people in commercials instead of having sweet as fuck back tattoos[Edited on July 12, 2012 at 2:16 PM. Reason : d]
7/12/2012 2:15:53 PM

People give Bama an awful lot of flack for their bogus titles (and rightfully so) but other schools are just as guilty of this practice as they are and seem to go by unscathed. I'm here to remedy this and today we'll be looking at the Tennessee Volunteers, who claim National Titles in 1938, 1940, 1950, 1951, 1967 and 1998. 1938 The Vols went 11-0 and Won the Orange Bowl, which is an outstanding season, especially when you consider that they only gave up 16 points all year. Even by 1938 standards that's damn impressive. However, they actually finished #2 in the only major poll that existed in 1938, the AP (to Davey O'Brien and TCU). As dominant as these Vols were, you just can't call them National Champions. This is the first time I've ever considered recognizing a team that didn't finish #1 in the AP or the Coaches poll, but I just can't do it in good conscience. ruling: NOT LEGIT 1940 Thankfully, 1940 is much easier. The Vols finished FOURTH in the AP behind Minnesota, Stanford and Michigan. ruling: NOT LEGIT 1950 The Vols AGAIN finished 4th in the AP. They also finished 3rd in the UPI and lost a regular season game to Mississippi State. Oklahoma went undefeated during the regular season and finished #1 in both polls. The Sooners lost their bowl game to Bear Bryant's Kentucky Wildcats but the vols have no problem claiming 1940 even though they lost the Sugar Bowl. In any event it doesn't matter because they didn't sniff #1 in either poll. ruling: NOT LEGIT 1951 In 1951 Tennessee went unbeaten and were named National Champion by both the UPI and AP ruling: LEGIT 1967 The Vols went 9-2 and finished #2 to 10-1 USC in both polls. ruling: NOT LEGIT 1998 The Vols won the inaugural BCS title ruling: LEGIT So there you have it, the Tennessee Volunteers claim 4 Bogus National Titles.
7/12/2012 2:25:26 PM
yeah, I only count the two...and as you said, every school does it, that has an argument even remotely close. Bama has something like 18 14 total.Interesting read... I was really surprised that he had Neyland ahead of Bear (and I dont agree, even though Bear never beat Neyland, Bear is flat out the best ever), but then I saw he was an Auburn fan and it all became clear. Also, Majors on this list is a joke (he didnt win his NC in the SEC, Fulmer would be ahead of him) and I would already have Saban on here as well.http://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/2011/top-ten-sec-coaches-of-all-time/[Edited on July 12, 2012 at 2:44 PM. Depending on how long Saban coaches, he could easily make top 3. The man is just killing it.

No college football national championship is legit until there's a playoff.
7/13/2012 11:55:04 AM
Powerhouse programs of the ACC.Ok... who's stepping forward?
7/13/2012 12:09:15 PM
When such time arrives that there is a powerhouse program in the ACC, that one will step forward.
7/13/2012 12:31:12 PM
les miles could end up on that list as well, if people can take him seriously.

at the very least any tennessee fan has to admit that nc state has a higher ceiling this season than they do.Tennessee is in the lesser division of the SEC. None of those teams will beat Alabama or LSU for the conf. championship FUCKING PERIOD. AT Best I would say Tennessee finishes second in the east division which would take a couple small miracles. Realistically, they finish fourth or fifth in the east and barely make some crappy bowl IF THEY ARE LUCKY.Meanwhile we return most of our defense with the exception being our lb's (thank god we hung onto tenuta) and our dl and both of those units have great young talent. I dont need to say anything about our secondary. Worst case scenario is that our offense is as good as last year's.I fully expect us to be dominate on offense and pass defense. We have a legitimate chance to win our division and possibly the conference this year. Tennessee cannot say that and because they cant they will do no better than playing in the SEC's equivalent of the belk bowl yet they feel like they are being slighted by playing little NC State.did i dream this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMV_IlJO8Go&feature=fvstcause that looks like a team that we have beat the shit out of the last 5 years AND COUNTINGI will be in Atlanta on Aug 31 to witness our ass kicking of the vol's. WHO'S WITH ME?FUCKFUCKFUCK THE VOL's

i dunno, man... when you get beat by Daniel Evans, I think you got the shit beat out of you, no matter the score

you also think it's cool to throw penalty flags at chuck amato, so i'm not really going to think twice about your input.
