Mostly talking to myself (so just like at home or on Twitter) but 2026 has been fun so far. O'Reilly's and Trucks have been pretty decent as well. Here is my tier list so you know how I roll. I did this before the Daytona 500 so I would make a few slight adjustments today[Edited on April 16, 2026 at 9:16 AM. Reason : n00b]

Tyler Reddick 45Bubba Wallace 23Riley Herbst 35Corey Heim 67

I can't abide the 3 higher than "dislike". You have questionable judgement.

Austin Dillon might be the least talented nepo-baby in the series and the 3 as a number could never be in the dislike category on principlePawpaw Childress needs to speed up the process of moving his grandsons into the management structure at RCR and put Jessie Love in the 3 or 8. Kyle Busch is so insanely washed at this point it makes me sad

The 3 was in hate category for me right up to 2001. Then AD came along and put it right back in there.

Ok, that tells me a lot. Sort of the same here, except my hate of the 3 went away in 1998 when he finally won the 500.Growing up I was obsessed with Mark Martin and Rusty Wallace. My favorite paint schemes were Kyle Petty's Mellow Yellow, the Tide Ride, and the Texaco Havoline cars (on top of the Valvoline and MGD cars, obviously). My cousins and uncles were DIE HARD Chevy people and Dale Sr fans, which meant we had to despise him lol. But in secret I thought he was pretty cool

I was a Mark Martin fan. Earnhardt was regarded as a dirty driver in the house where I was raised.

I seem to recall from around 95-01 that Jeff Gordon was called "the rainbow warrior"

Mark Martin, FTW! Even in the Viagra car, I guess. This is getting much more interaction than on the Twitters.Welcom eback, hunterb2003!

Especially in the Viagra car.

i remember 88 was dale jarrett, was he ok?
4/16/2026 12:02:19 PM
he was the 1999 champion[Edited on April 16, 2026 at 12:37 PM. Reason : and won the Daytona 500 three times]
4/16/2026 12:36:13 PM
i meant was he dirty or anything? I liked earnhardt in the like 3 year period i really cared about nascar, but i have a particular affinity for the number 3. Thought "intimidator" was a pretty cool nickname too

Dale Jarrett was about as steady and clean as any of the other old school drivers that last into the early 2000'sHe won most of it in the 88 when he was with Robert Yates, but was with Gibbs (JGR) in the 18 before that and maybe? the Wood Bros 21 before that. I always associate him with the red/white/blue Quality Care car and the UPS ride. But he ran that same Interstate batteries car Bobby Labonte was best know for.

He was super clean. Probably my 2nd favorite behind Mark Martin. He took over the Wood Bros #21 in 1990 after Neil Bonnet got injured. He won with them at Michigan in '91. Hell of a race at the end between him and Davey Allison. Worth a watch.https://youtu.be/OYh1zst2WD4?si=D8AVpXwAzrDQyo-O
