I agree! He's got a distinctive voice, as a writer. I think I enjoy him as an artist, all around.

I saw him recently at the GCW match in Las Vegas, Joey Janela's Spring Break X. He came out in support of The Sandman during his retirement match. Also featured was Violent J from the ICP.

I need to read more... there's just too much to watch on tv these days (sad, i know). I tend to start a book, get a little way in to it, then put it down for a while and forget about it. Then when I finally get back to it, I don't remember the details and basically have to start over. I've done that a lot over the last few years.

I just re-started Devil House by John Darnielle (of the Mountain Goats),

Earlier this year I planned to re-read East of Eden (John Steinbeck). I got about half-way through, then haven't picked it back up in a few months. I saw that there's going to be a Netflix mini-series later this year.

Not compiling prior but just finished Lonesome Dove. Kept seeing folks recommend it on random reddit book threads for completely different genres, and it held up. Warning if you have regrets in life, it may make you focus on them. Not me though I don't have any

Currently in non-fiction: Chokepoint Capitalism: How Big Tech and Big Content Captured Creative Labor Markets and How We'll Win Them Back by Doctorow/Giblin (2022)

Chokepoint's "How We'll Win Them Back" part is sadly outdated already with AI encroaching creative fields but I rarely give up on a book because I don't value my time

I spent some time unemployed (better now!) so it's like my 90th book this year according to GoodReads

Over a quarter of those is probably YA and romance novels, lol. The later Bridgerton books get utterly UNHINGED. Multiple kidnappings, women in trousers, lots of scandal XD
