How about this...you can initiate but rarely do...so done automatically...but can you delay it or tell it not to refresh/reset?

in some ways yes, but not really in a robust sense that would be required if it were considered a necessary part of tww operations

although there are some deterministic configuration settings that are involved, it's mostly "random". this is the primary explanation

more or less. perma-chatterbox has always been a relatively trivial feature to add (site3 had it), I just never did bc I always saw the random resets as kindof part of the charm of the chatterbox

Have you ever thought about making the edit post either shorter or longer? I've seen you ghost edit to make longer ones...i just did the same. But it does seem rather generous too, so thought maybe you could shorten it too if you desired

Also, when we post a wolfweb pic with .Jpg to make it big does it use more data?

by default crazycode will turn the photo filename to the thumbnail version. changing it to .Jpg bypasses that and uses the fullsize photo. so yes in this case the fullsize photo is a larger file size than the thumbnail and requires more bandwidth to transmit
